ENG. ISSA MOHAMED AL MOHANNADI
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Eng. Issa Moh’d Al Mohannadi is the Chief Executive Officer for DOHALAND company, subsidiary of Qatar Foundation.
Eng. Al Mohannadi has held a variety of front line leadership positions, primarily in oil and gas and real estate sectors. He has a wide range of working experience with major international companies such as Chiyoda-Japan, Air Liquide-France, Aker Kvaerner-Spain, Snamprogetti-Italy and ExxonMobil-United States.
Prior to DOHALAND, Eng. Al Mohannadi held certain key positions within RasGas Company Ltd and played a key role in setting up new initiatives such as the Ras Laffan Helium Project, LNG Venture Terminal Business Group, RasGas Capital Projects Department, and the National Development Team (NDT).
Starting his career in 1997 as Process Engineer, Eng. Al Mohannadi was member of the commissioning team for Train 1&2, design team for Train 3 EPC and Helium Project, and the Head of Infrastructure.
Eng. Al Mohannadi is also the Founder and Chair of Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC), Board Member of Turner International Middle East Qatar, Board Member of Qatar Academy-Al Khor, Vice President of Al Thakhiera Youth Center.
Eng. Al Mohannadi holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University at Kingsville Texas, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.
MR. C. S. CHANDRASEKARAN
Finance & Corporate Services Director (CFO)
C.S. Chandrasekaran, the Finance & Corporate Services Director (CFO) for DOHALAND has a multifaceted work profile. From managing the economics of a company to a very rich professional experience in General Administration and Management, Chandrasekaran is adept at feasibility studies, financial analysis and business planning, translating into managing success for every project he handles.
Over 25 years of experience has enriched his expertise in all areas of Finance particularly investment strategy and funding, project financing, negotiations, joint ventures, setting up business ventures in new territories, contracts and agreements, structuring deals, organisational structuring, treasury and risk management, IPOs, cross border tax planning. Chandrasekaran had the opportunity to work on different types of real estate development like Townships, Mixed use, Hotels, Condominium, Serviced Apartments, Industrial Estate, Shopping Centers, Schools, Clubs..Etc.
At DOHALAND, Chandrasekaran is responsible for financial planning, control and reporting, Investment Appraisals, Funding & Investment strategy, Treasury & Risk Management, Corporate Services, Procurement and IT.
Before DOHALAND, Chandrasekaran has held senior management positions with Blue Chip Companies in Dubai, Bangkok, Jakarta and India.
A Chartered Accountant, Chandrasekaran holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Madras University, India.
MR. IMAD NACHED
Marketing Director
As Marketing Director of DOHALAND, Imad Nached brings with him an excellent professional record of over 15 years, encompassing entire spectrum of Marketing and Communications, Business Development and Management.
At DOHALAND, Imad oversees the PR and Marketing Strategies, Brand Development and Positioning, marketing research and marketing strategy for each project. Imad is an expert at developing strategic direction for each project, and takes a total holistic approach to Marketing Communications from concept stages through the Implementation Plan and Recording Project’s Marketing Progress.
Prior to DOHALAND, Imad was handling the Pearl-Qatar and Business Bay projects with OMRAN Group of Companies, UAE, as Director of Marketing & Communications, where he established new divisions for Property Marketing popularly known as “alshamel” in Dubai, UAE and Qatar.
Imad has also worked with Samsung Electronics as Regional Marketing & Communications Director for Middle East & Africa for five years, using his expertise to form strategic regional marketing plans and activities to increase brand awareness and market share.
Imad started his career as Assistant District Manager Sales and Marketing for Tandy Corporation, New Jersey, USA.; he was later promoted to join Tandy’s international operation for the Middle East as General Manager for Sales and Marketing.
Imad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Aleppo University, and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management and Resource Engineering from State University New York, USA. Imad has engaged in exclusive Marketing Strategies and Tactics Training at Tandy Corporation in, Dallas, USA; and several International Marketing and Brand Equity training sessions in Samsung HO, Seoul-Korea.
MS. MARYAM AL-MANSOORI
Human Resources Manager
With a blend of business acumen and a wealth of expertise in Human Resource Management, Maryam Al-Mansoori brings in fresh, vibrant energy to DOHALAND. Her competence solidly supports the company’s aim of becoming a high performing real estate organization with a reputation for its workforce stability that fosters the best talents in the industry.
As HR Manager, Maryam plays a key role in preparing a comprehensive HR strategy consistent with the long term vision of DOHALAND. One of her responsibilities is to advise the Top Management on people strategies and recommendations, evaluate and formulate policies relating to company personnel and supervise every aspect of employee relations.
Maryam has previously handled highly challenging positions including Acting Deputy Manager (HR site), Head of Workforce Planning & HR Systems, Senior Workforce Planning Specialist, Senior Planning Analyst, and Network Analyst at RasGas Company Limited.
She graduated from the University of Qatar with BSc in Computer Science in 2001.She was team leader in the Organising Committee of the Group77 and China Second South Summit. She is also a volunteer with the Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences, under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Maryam’s commitment to continuous learning helped her earn the Professional in Human Resource (PHR) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Maryam’s personal aspiration of creating astute, globally renowned Qatari business people and pioneers of tomorrow ensures her free time is taken up mentoring and guiding the youth.
MR. GAMAL ELDIN ALI ELTOM
Legal Affairs Counsel
Gamal eldin Ali Eltom serves as the Legal Affairs Counsel for DOHALAND, continuing an impressive career as a Legal Counsel for companies spanning Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia and Qatar, which helped him specialise in region-specific legal issues in Construction Law and Real Estate.
Most recently, Gamal worked in Qatar Petroleum Legal Department as Senior Counsel, where his duties include providing legal advice on Qatari Law, specialise in Real estate contracts, construction and building contracts, employment contracts and review and drafting legal documents. Gamal represented Qatar Petroleum at the Qatari Civil and Criminal Courts, and at Local and Foreign Arbitration Tribunals.
Prior to his three years at Qatar Petroleum, Gamal served as Legal Advisor for the Arab Engineering Bureau in Doha. He advised on the firm’s external engineering activities and transactions, and internally, on Qatar’s labour laws, office Regulation and International Labour Organisation treaties.
Gamal’s wide-range of experience comprises working with the Cairo Institute for Human Rights, Sudan Future Care and the Sudanese Legal Aid and Consultancy Center. He is a member of the Charter Institute of Arbitrators in London, a member of the World Jurists Association and an honoured member of the ‘WHO’s WHO Historical Society’ for 2008, a member of Sudanese Lawyers Association in Doha.
Gamal received his LLB from the University of Khartoum in Sudan, earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Arbitration and an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration, from Robert Gordon University in the United Kingdom.

MR. MOHAMMED MASOOUD JARALLAH AL-MARRI
Projects Director
As part of his role as a Project Director at DOHALAND, Mr. Al Marri has overall responsibility for project management and administration of DOHALAND’s major projects, touching on areas of costing, contracting, procurement, financial control/ analysis and project feasibility. His long and varied management background also allows him to contribute positively to the day to day management and long term strategic direction of the company as a member of the senior management team.
Mr. Al Marri brings a strong international project management background of over 17 years out of those 14 years in the Oil & Gas industry where he directed several major multibillion dollar projects to completion. In 2007, he brought his considerable project management skills and knowledge to the real estate business at Nakheel, one of Dubai’s pre-eminent real estate investment companies.
Mr. Al Marri also has a strong international business perspective as a result of 10 years working abroad in both Asia and the GCC. He has a strong record of managing projects from initial concept, design, and development through to completion, including sales and marketing post project.
Mr. Al Marri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami, USA, and has continued enhancing his personal and career development by successfully completing occupational and professional training programs.
MR. JOHN ROSE
Director – Development
John Rose is the Development Director of DOHALAND. John brings with him an excellent professional record of two decades of real estate development experience in master-planning, design and construction of large scale mixed projects in Europe and the Middle East; working with organizations such as Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Tishman-Speyer Properties and Turner Construction International.
At DOHALAND, John works on the development ventures including the signature project Musheireb that introduces a new Qatari architectural language, a result of many years of research and work.
Prior to joining DOHALAND, John was the Executive Director for Emaar Dubai, overseeing its projects development.
John has also worked as the Regional Managing Director for Emaar International and managed Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia operations. He has been involved with the master-planning and project development in Morocco, Libya, Tunisia, Pakistan and Egypt.
John holds a Masters in Architecture from North Carolina University, and a Bachelors degree in Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
